Fire Station has subsidised residential studios that provide self-contained, secure living and working spaces for professional visual artists. Our artists go though a highly competitive selection process to be awarded a residency.
Our training programme for professional visual artists takes place annually. The main aims of the programme are to support artists to diversify, upskill and engage in critical thinking.
We connect the national with the international through a commissioning process that focuses on socially engaged arts practice, arts and disability, and critique through talks and publications.
