Our Board

Amanda Coogan is a performance artist based in Dublin. She is a co-founder of The Performance Collective which came out of a Masterclass in performance art held by the Fire Station in 2007.

Roisin Hogan chairs the board. She was Director of the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology from 1997 – 2001 and was principal of the Dun Laoghaire Art School before that. She is interested in helping to develop further top-level support structures for the emerging artist, encouraging professional development.

Pauline Kane is Director of Wexford Centre Project. Her expertise lies in working in community contexts, particularly with young people and families.

Clodagh Kenny is Secretary to the Board and is Company Director.

Mel MacGiobuin is the co-ordinator of North Inner City Drugs Task Force. He has experience of community arts policy and practice, particularly in an urban context. He is also a poet.

Alan Phelan is an artist who lives and works in Dublin. He is a former resident of the Fire Station Artists' Studios.

Dan Shipsides is a visual artist based at Orchid Studios. He is Research Fellow at the School of Art and Design at the University of Ulster in Belfast. He was Co-director of Catalyst Arts, Belfast.
