We are the Irish State's principal instrument of arts funding and an advisory body to Government on arts matters. Design & Crafts Council of Ireland

Create is the national development agency for collaborative arts. Create supports artists across all artforms who work collaboratively with communities, be they communities of place or communities brought together by interest and offers a range of services for artists and arts organisations which include Professional Development, Learning Development, Project Management and Consultancy and Projects and Initiatives that support and develop collaborative arts.

Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces

Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces was founded in 1983 as a non profit contemporary art complex of gallery spaces and studio facilities in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The organisation provides professional support to artists in the early stages of their careers. Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces' exhibition program operates through the organisation's three gallery spaces. Exhibitions are developed internally and through proposals from artists, curators and groups, and features work by emerging Australian and international artists. Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces houses sixteen low-cost, non-residential studios for local artists, and a residential studio for visiting international and interstate artists.

Inner City Organisations Network

ICON is a Network of Organisations in the North East Inner City of Dublin. It is a Community Development Organisation open to membership by anyone living or working in the North East Inner City - individuals, representatives of tenants groups and workers in local services and Projects.

Leitrim Sculpture Centre

Leitrim Sculpture Centre is an expanding arts facility in Manorhamilton in the North West of Ireland. The centre reflects the contemporary definition of Sculpture to include: object making in a variety of materials and processes, installation and performance practices, environmental work, multi-media and interdisciplinary research.

National Sculpture Factory

The National Sculpture Factory provides and promotes a supportive environment for the making of art, opportunities for commissioning new works, collaborations, residencies and other artistic interventions.

North Centre City Community Action Project

The NCCCAP Community Training Centre in the North East Inner City area of Dublin was established in 1978 to combat high unemployment in the area. Over the years, it evolved into a community training centre for early school leavers and unemployed people in the 16 to 21 age group. It is committed to the training and development of young people.

Res Artis

Res Artis is the largest existing network of artist residency programmes, representing the interests of more than 200 organisations in 50 countries worldwide that offer international artists facilities and conditions conducive for making artwork.

Visit Studios


VISIT is a free public event when more than 250 visual artists living and working in Dublin city open their doors of their professional practice studios once every two years. Fire Station's resident and workshop artists participate in this event.

Visual Artists Ireland

Visual Artists Ireland is an all-Ireland body for professional visual artists. It provides services, facilities and resources for artists, initiates artistic projects and publications and acts as an advocate on behalf of individual artists.
