Áine McBride is a visual artist working in sculpture and photography. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2016. Recent exhibitions include work suite, a solo show in mother’s tankstation gallery (2018); Periodical Review 2017, Pallas Projects, Dublin (2017); NEU-GEN 2017: Towards Both the Parts, NCAD Gallery, Dublin (2017); and Habitat HQ, a site responsive body of work made for the brutalist concourse of Trinity College’s Arts Building, as an off-site Douglas Hyde Gallery project (2017). McBride is a recipient of the Arts Council’s Next Generation Award 2017.
