Jude Bennet
Jude Bennett is a freelance curator working on a programme for g39, a large artist led gallery based in Cardiff, including curating the upcoming Artangel collaboration presenting Mike Kelley alongside a new commission by S Mark Gubb. 
Over the past decade Jude has curated and ran various artistic programmes throughout U.K. and Ireland to include Queen Street Studios & Gallery (Belfast), Aspex gallery (Portsmouth), Florence Trust (London), Catalyst Arts (Belfast). In 2012 she initiated Anarch, an independent commissioning gallery in Deptford London and worked closely with artists to create eight new works. In 2013 she curated a multi event art exhibition, Colony, which included collection letters by Gordon Matta Clark and new works by over 35 artists in an derelict building in Fitzrovia.
In 2015 Jude started an NGO Refugee Rescue in Lesvos Greece in response to the humanitarian crisis that has meant millions of displaced people fleeing war. Her work at Fire Station Studios is to reflect on the on the role of the contemporary artist / curator / activist / architect from this perspective.
