Erin Joyce

Erin Joyce is a contemporary art curator and has organized and over 35 solo and group exhibitions across the US including Erika Harrsch: Moving in the Border Lands, Still Life No. 3: Raven Chacon, Dear Listener: Works by Nicholas Galanin, and David Hockney’s Yosemite and Masters of California Basketry. Her work centers on decolonizing arts institutions, interrogation of labor models and power structures, and land rights and sovereignty in North America. Joyce has given lectures at the Yale Center for British Art, School for Advanced Research, College of Charleston, and others. Joyce holds a BA in Art History from the University of North Texas and an MA in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. She is the former Creative Director and Fine Arts Curator at the Heard Museum and is currently a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University.
