Jane Fogarty

Jane Fogarty currently lives and works in Dublin, Ireland. Graduating with an honours degree in Fine Art from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2010. Her work has been included in many national and international exhibitions, these have included three solo exhibitions; Paperwork, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, Mel, Eight Gallery, Dublin, and |’painti NG |, the Talbot Gallery, Dublin. Selected group exhibitions include; Mystery Ewer, Artbox (2016), and ELIA’s NEU/NOW Live, Nantes, France (2010).

Awards include; The Individual Artists Bursary Award’ from South Dublin County Council (2016), The Most Promising Graduate Award from The Talbot Gallery (2010), the RDS Lewis Crosby Award for Painting (2010), The Project Award (2012) and the Travel and Training Award (2015) from the Arts Council, Ireland. Fogarty’s work is held in private collections and the collection of the Office of Public Works State Art Collection of Ireland.

In 2015 Fogarty completed a residency in Hungary during which she worked towards the development of her solo exhibition Paperwork.

Fogarty has also facilitated numerous educational projects since 2007. These have included the Young Curators project, at RUA RED, (South Dublin Arts Centre) and was a selected participating artist
