Katie Watchorn works predominantly in installation and sculpture. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2014. Recent exhibitions include BalehomeBalehomeat VISUAL, Carlow, and A Calf Remembered at Wexford Arts Centre, both in 2018. Since graduating, she has received the Hotron Recent Graduate Award 2016, Wexford Arts Centre EVAA Award 2017 and was supported by the Arts Council Next Generation Award in 2016 and bursary in 2018 for the production of new work. Katie is currently in residence at the Irish Museum of Modern Art as part of their IMMA 1000 programme.
