The Sean and Rosemarie Mulcahy Visual Arts Residency Award: for a Socially Engaged Artist

It is with enormous pride that a fully funded residency, with a monthly stipend, for 6 months is offered, thanks to the generosity of Irish patrons of the Arts, the late Sean and Rosemarie Mulcahy, the first in a three-year commitment to this residency award. This award marks the 30th anniversary of FSAS as a key studio provider in Ireland’s artistic ecology.

FSAS has a strong commitment to community engagement and is proud of its Dublin 1 heritage and neighbourhood.  This commitment is emphasised by this first Sean & Rosemarie Mulcahy Award focussing on Socially Engaged practice.
