Returning International Curator 2024, Lea Vene

We are delighted to welcome back curator Lea Vene to FSAS this Autumn. As our 2024 returning International Curator the visit builds on Lea’s previous visit in 2020 as part of the International Curator Residency Programme.

Lea Vene (b. 1987, in Zagreb, Croatia) is an independent curator, cultural anthropologist, and lecturer at the Faculty of Textile Technology and the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb. She was a curator at ETNOFILm festival and Miroslav Kraljević Gallery in Zagreb. She curates exhibition programs for the International Photography Festival Organ Vida and performance events for Gallery Močvara. She’s a researcher at CIMO – Centre for Research of Fashion and Clothing (Zagreb, Croatia).
