Kat Lalor

Kat Lalor is a Queer Visual Artist, recently graduated from their BA in Fine Art at TU Dublin. Lalor’s practice focuses on exploring the multi-facets of Queer intelligibility through a combined use of durational performance and lens-based works. Inspired by methods of contemporary drag, Lalor interrupts normative systems of looking by challenging socially established gender constructs. Through continued engagement with their practice, Lalor aims to further explore the prospects of a visual arts practice to facilitate and expand the representation of gender beyond binaries.
